Riya Seafoods Inc., a premiere importer of frozen shrimp from India and Ecuador, is seeking a high-performing Seafood Sales Professional to lead regional sales efforts in New Jersey. This is a revenue-driving role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to close deals with foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and retail buyers.
💼 Your Mission:
• Sell premium frozen shrimp (vannamei, black tiger, and specialty formats) to restaurants, distributors, supermarkets, and seafood wholesalers
• Manage a high-volume sales pipeline with weekly targets and monthly growth goals
• Prospect and onboard new accounts through cold outreach, referrals, and industry networking
• Negotiate pricing, volume contracts, and delivery terms with precision and professionalism
• Track market trends and competitor activity to position Riya Seafoods as the supplier of choice
• Collaborate with import, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
🎯 What You Bring:
• 3+ years of experience in B2B foodservice or seafood sales
• Strong book of business or network in the New Jersey food distribution market
• Proven ability to sell by the container, pallet, or case — not just by the pound
• Familiarity with imported frozen seafood SKUs, pricing structures, and buyer expectations
• CRM fluency and pipeline management skills
• Self-motivated, persuasive, and hungry to exceed quotas
