Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Marketing and Project Manager to join our sales Department. This role is instrumental in coordinating cross-functional marketing initiatives and project timelines while supporting brand development, packaging development, NPD, digital presence, and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will balance day-to-day execution with strategic planning, helping Northern Wind grow its brand and sales impact across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
Develop, review, and manage content and creative assets for marketing and sales use, including digital, print, and trade show materials.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce on-brand campaigns and presentations.
Maintain brand standards across all marketing collateral, including brochures, sell sheets, and social media.
Oversee and update company website and social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) regularly.
Submit marketing materials to Compliance for approval; coordinate timely edits and final distribution.
Oversee the Packaging Department including creative brand design, private label packaging design, packaging inventory management and external vendor management.
Analyze and report on campaign performance and customer engagement data.
Support thought leadership and content marketing campaigns (articles, podcasts, webinars, etc.).
Project Management & Strategic Execution
Manage marketing and sales-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines, resources, and scopes are aligned.
Facilitate team collaboration, monitor task progress, identify roadblocks, and adjust workflows to stay on schedule.
Track and report on project timelines, deliverables, budget adherence, and stakeholder updates.
Support trade show logistics, private label initiatives, and product launch efforts.
Help implement marketing technology tools, content workflows, and team training initiatives.
Participate in weekly production, design, and cross-departmental strategy meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field required.
3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or project management, preferably in seafood, food & beverage, or CPG industries.
Prior experience in managing external agencies and creative vendors is a plus.
Familiarity with the seafood supply chain or B2B sales cycles is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Workfront), and content management systems.
Comfortable using creative tools like Canva or Adobe Suite to assist with light design edits.
Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail.
Calm under pressure, proactive, and solutions oriented.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus but not required.
Day-to-Day Work Environment
Work closely with the Sales, Design, Compliance, and Operations teams.
Manage projects using workflow tools and email communications.
Balance team meetings with independent project ownership.
Regularly participate in planning and production meetings.
