We’re Hiring! Seafood Buyer | Maryland

We’ve been sourcing and delivering the highest-quality seafood for over 75 years, and we’re ready to welcome a new Seafood Buyer to our Procurement team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who knows the seafood market, thrives in negotiation, and takes pride in maintaining quality and sustainability standards. You’ll play a key role in keeping our customers supplied with the best the ocean has to offer while building lasting partnerships with suppliers across the industry.

What You’ll Do:
- Source, purchase, and manage fresh, frozen, and value-added seafood products
- Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed buying decisions
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to meet cost and margin goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality or product issues
- Travel to vendors and industry events to stay connected with market trends

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement (seafood preferred)
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SeaSoft a plus)
- Someone who’s organized, resourceful, and passionate about seafood
