Seafood Sales Professionals – (Wholesale, Retail & Foodservice)

 We are currently seeking initiative-taking seafood sales professionals.

Based in Bellevue, WA Seattle Shrimp & Seafood Company (SSSC), is a subsidiary of the Hanwa Group of Japan and a leading importer and distributor of frozen seafood. Leveraging Hanwa’s global supplier network and in-house inspectors, SSSC sources directly from farms and production sites to ensure quality, consistency, and responsible practices. Through long-standing partnerships with socially responsible fisheries and suppliers, SSSC is committed to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and exceptional customer value.

 Key Responsibilities

·         Build, manage and grow customer relationships across assigned accounts.

·         Identify and develop new business opportunities and sales programs.

·         Negotiate pricing contracts and long-term supply agreements.

·         Monitor market trends and communicate insights to customers and internal teams.

·         Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.

 Customer Segments

·         Wholesale distributors

·         Broadline distributors

·         Chain food service accounts.

·         Club stores

·         Retail chain stores

·         Food manufacturers

 Core Product Categories

·         Shrimp (all forms and origins)

·         Snow, King, Dungeness, and Santolla crab

·         Cold and warm water Lobster

·         Salmon, Swai, Tuna and Tilapia

·         Pasteurized crab meat

·         Sushi items

 Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has proven experience selling frozen seafood to key accounts, building long-term customer partnerships, and securing repeat program business. A strong understanding of seafood markets and pricing dynamics is highly valuable.

 Qualifications.

·         Proven sales and negotiation skills with a history of meeting and exceeding targets.

·         Excellent communication interpersonal and relationship building skills.

·         Knowledge of the seafood supply chain preferred.

·         Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

·         Initiative-taking, organized, and capable of working independently.

·         Experience in account management and customer service.

·         Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools a plus.

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Industry experience.
